It is three wins in a row for Coleraine following Friday night's 2-0 win over second-placed Crusaders in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Dean Jarvis headed home on the rebound to break the deadlock in the first 45 minutes. That came after Josh Carson's free-kick thumped the woodwork.

Jarvis then turned provider for the clinching goal, scored by Evan McLaughlin.

Coleraine stay in sixth after this result, but Oran Kearney's side cut the gap to Stephen Baxter's men to three points.

On Saturday afternoon, leaders Larne welcomed Newry City. They won 2-0 thanks to goals from Fuad Sule and Tomas Cosgrove.

Portadown picked up a first home league win of the season. They beat Ballymena United 1-0 thanks to Josh Archer's effort.

Dungannon Swifts were 4-1 winners over Carrick Rangers at Stangmore Park.

The afternoon's other scheduled game - Glentoran against Glenavon did not go ahead as the pitch failed a pre-match inspection.
