Larne picked up an impressive 4-2 win at Linfield on Saturday in the Danske Bank Premiership.

Ben Doherty netted for Tiernan Lynch's side from the penalty spot. Paul O'Neill was also on the scoresheet for the Invermen, while Lee Bonis and Leroy Millar's goals clinched the points.

David Healy's side responded with goals from Cameron Palmer and Ethan Devine, but they were not enough for the Blues.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Glentoran edged out Newry City 1-0 at the Showgrounds.

Conor McMenamin's goal early in the first half was enough.

Crusaders were comfortable winners, 4-0 over Portadown. Adam Leckey notched a double with Jude Winchester and McCauley Snelgrove also finding the back of the Ports net.

Cliftonville won a six-goal battle, 4-2 at Coleraine.

Rory Hale had the Reds two-up early on. Ryan Curran Joe Gormley also scored for the Reds.

Glenavon took all three points from a 4-2 win over Carrick Rangers.

Matthew Fitzpatrick, Eoin Bradley, Jack Malone and Matthew Snoddy netted.

Andy Mitchell and Lloyd Anderson responded for Rangers.

Dungannon Swifts and Ballymena United cancelled each other out with a 1-1 draw on Friday night.

After a bright start from the home side at Stangmore Park, Michael O'Connor opened the scoring.

However, Ballymena responded strongly, and Davy McDaid equalised soon afterwards.

The result keeps David Jeffrey's side eighth. Dungannon go second-from-bottom on four points.
