Glentoran missed out on the opportunity to move into fourth in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday when visiting Glenavon claimed a 2-0 win.

Conor McCluskey came off the bench to open the scoring before half-time. Matthew Fitzpatrick snatched a late second to give the Lurgan Blues the win.

There was only one goal at Stangmore Park as David Cushley's effort gave visiting Carrick Rangers a 1-0 win over Dungannon Swifts.
