Joe Gormley wrote his name into Cliftonville’s record books last night (Friday) after becoming their all-time top goalscorer.

The striker converted two penalties against Crusaders at Seaview to bring his overall tally to 172.

But it was bitter sweet.

Jordan Owens

Just when it looked this cracking north Belfast derby was about to finish 2-2, up popped Crues striker Jordan Owens in injury time - to seal a 3-2 win for Stephen Baxter’s side.

Ross Clarke and Rory Patterson grabbed the other strikes for the home side who now climb to third in the table.

In the only other game of the night, a late Aaron Jarvis goal gave Institute a 1-0 win at Ards.

Three Danske Bank Premiership games take place later (3pm kick-off).

Ballymena host Newry City while Dungannon Swifts take on Warrenpoint at Stangmore.

But the game of the day is at the Showgrounds where unbeaten Coleraine meet league leaders Glenavon.
