Tyrone started the first half brightly, streaking into a four point lead by the 15 minute mark.

However, wasteful shooting from Micky Harte's side would come back to haunt them.

Dublin won a penalty through Paul Mannion, who duly dispatched into the top left corner, to level the scores.

From there, Jim Gavin's side began to turn the screw and exert their class, with Dean Rock pointing shortly after.

Dublin didn't relinquish their lead from there on in, with Tyrone struggling to contain their opponents.

Just seven minutes after the first goal, Niall Scully palmed into the back of the net for his side's second goal, the lead then 2-05 to 0-6.

Dean Rock continued to convert from open play and from frees, with the score set at 2-14 to 0-12 going into the last 10 minutes of normal time.

A late goal from Tyrone, Peter Harte converting from the penalty spot, offered brief hope, but Dublin showed their experience in finals by shutting out the game.

Despite seven minutes of additional time and a red card for Dublin's John Small, the game proved beyond the Red Hands.

It marks the first time Micky Harte has lost an All-Ireland SFC final with Tyrone and secured Dublin's fourth title on the trot.
