Linfield missed out on a vital win in their Europa Conference League play-off - after they conceded two late goals at Rigas Futbola Skola last night (Thursday).

That left the final score from the first leg in Latvia - 2-2.

Goals from Stephen Fallon and Joel Cooper had given the visitors a commanding lead but that all changed in the 88th minute when RFS scored and then equalised in added time.

While disappointing, a draw means qualification for the Group stages is still very much in the Blues hands with a second leg at Windsor Park to come.

David Healy told Linfield TV that he had "mixed emotions" about the result but said he was "proud" of his players.

"We are still in the tie," he added

The Blues will host RFS next Thursday - but before that they take on Newry City in the Irish Premiership on Sunday.
