Belfast Giants kept their six-point weekend hopes alive with a 4-1 win over MK Lightning last night.

It was the perfect start to their triple Elite League game road trip – ending on Sunday.

A brace from man-of-the-match David Rutherford (main pic) and a goal apiece for Francis Beauvillier made it seven wins in a row for Adam Keefe’s side.

The Giants will return to the ice on Saturday for their second game in Milton Keynes in as many days, face-off 7pm. Sunday sees the Giants travel to Guildford for their final game of the weekend, face-off 6pm.

Belfast’s next games at The SSE Arena are Thursday 15th - Saturday 17th November in the Continental Cup Semi-Final.
