Stephen Kenny' has laid down a challenge to his Republic side as they prepare to take on Hungary tonight (Tuesday) in a friendly.

Having beaten Andorra 4-1, five days ago, Kenny now wants his players to build up a winning momentum - ahead of their world cup qualifying campaign in September.

"We are looking for a good performance - we want to finish the week strongly and take that into September," he said

Skipper Seamus Coleman is unavailable with a hamstring injury.

Teenager Troy Parrott who impressed in the Andorra win, is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up.

Adam Szalai was not involved in the friendly win over Cyprus last Friday, but is in contention to start alongside Bristol City midfielder Adam Nagy, Willi Orban and Loic Nego.
