Kenny says Republic building something special after Hungary draw

The Republic are now unbeaten in their last two friendlies.

They drew 0-0 with Euros-bound Hungary last night (Wed) - five days after a 4-1 win over Andorra.

Boss Stephen Kenny who included the likes of Spurs teenager Troy Parrott in the starting line-up, believes they are now building something special.

"A lot of players got a lot of good international experience which will stand them well in the future," he said.

"Obviously we have had a radical change of personnel.

"We want to make the Irish public proud of this team - and the players are proud to play."
