Rhys McClenaghan retains European pommel horse title
The Newtownards man competed in Italy on Friday

Rhys McClenaghan is European pommel horse champion once again after retaining his title in Rimini on Friday.
The Newtownards athlete last won the title a year ago in Turkey.
The 24-year-old will now begin his final preparations for the Olympic Games in Paris in July when he will compete for pommel horse Olympic gold.
He is one major title away from a grand slam.
