Belfast Giants Head Coach Derek Walser says his side must recover from their double defeat to Cardiff Devils, which he's called a "bump in the road."

Despite the disappointment last weekend, the Giants remain in the title race.

"We ran into the best team in the league in Cardiff who played really well. We had opportunities to win both games. We made some critical mistakes but we are looking at how we can fix those and how can come back from that," said Walser.

The Giants are back in action at the SSE on Saturday, hosting the Fife Flyers. On Sunday, they're away to the Nottingham Panthers.

"It's not easy when you have had a tough weekend like we just had (against Cardiff)," said Walser. "We've had a great year until now - our record speaks for itself. We had a little bump in the road. It's not over but right now we need to fix a few issues and get back to winning ways," said Walser.

At the moment the Giants are 3rd in the Elite League standings, 7 points behind the Devils.
