He first started out in community radio in Belfast and has since learned the tricks of the desk, often helping with supporting the teams on outdoor broadcasts and shows.

"After completing my GCSE’s at Newtownbreda High School, I went to Belfast Met where I studied Politics and Communication studies along with additional GCSE’s and photography."

Does Owen have any pets?
"Yes, I have a dog called Jake which I rescued from Assisi animal sanctuary."
What’s Owen's death row meal?
"Tough one, has to be comfort food though. I am vegetarian so it would have to be an amazing plant based burger and loads of chips."
Who is Owen's favourite musician and why?
"I love songs and artists that have really good positive energy about them. Big fan of George Ezra, The Script and Joel Corey to name a few."
How did Owen get into radio?
"The hard way! I sent loads of demos to Bosses at different stations and didn’t give up.
"You have to be persistent and not let the knock backs get you down."
What’s Owen's go-to karaoke song?
"Not much of a singer so one that drowns me out 🤣 Mr Brightside by The Killers"
What’s been Owen's all-time favourite gig and why?
"It's an easy answer - Taylor Swift at Croke Park was amazing!"
