Team GB has won three Olympic gold medals so far today, with some people calling it Magic Monday!

The first gold was for Adam Peaty who created history by becoming the first British swimmer to retain an Olympic title.

Tom Daley and Matty Lee also added to Team GB's medal count with gold in the ten-metre-synchronised diving.

Tom Pidcock won gold in the cross country mountain biking and Alex Yee won silver in the triathlon.

The 27-year-old and partner Matty Lee, who is making his Olympic debut in Tokyo, have won the men's synchronised 10m platform.

Tom picked up bronze medals in London and Rio but, until this morning (Monday 26th July), had never come higher than that.

Adam Peaty gets Team GB's first gold

Daley and Lee's gold was Team GB's second of the games, after swimmer Adam Peaty won the men's 100m breaststroke.

He has become the first British swimmer ever to retain an Olympic gold.

Three golds on #MagicMonday

It's no wonder #MagicMonday is trending on Twitter as Team GB take three golds - the third from Tom Pidcock.

Pidcock won the mountain bike cross-country.

Rower Helen Glover and partner Polly Swann came third in their women's pair heat, earning them a place in the semi-final later this week.
