In just four days’ time, the Continental Christmas Market swings open the iron gates at Belfast City Hall.
It’s hard not to feel festive as you walk through the bustling lanes filled with smiling faces, stuffed with fantastic food and even merrier mulled wine.
Well, the hotel chain Premier Inn are on the hunt for five very special and rather lucky people, to travel across Europe to experience some of the best Christmas markets.
The locations they want tested include Dublin, Frankfurt in Germany, Edinburgh in Scotland plus London & Birmingham in the UK.
Is this even a real-life job? You’ll get money to spend on travel and accommodation at one of their Premier Inn hotels.
You’ll be asked to report back and share your thoughts on what’s hot and what’s not. Premier Inn will be pulling the info for a list of the best Christmas markets in the world.
Simon Ewins, Managing Director at Premier Inn said: “Visiting a Christmas market is the perfect way to visit a new city, which is why we want to send five Christmas fans to some of the UK and Europe’s best festive spots to report back, safe in the knowledge they can rest easy with us after a busy day exploring the stalls.
“Christmas markets have gone from strength to strength in recent years and so we know our official Christmas Market Tester role will be a dream job for many, with the opportunity to explore markets in the UK, Dublin and Germany all on offer.”
How to apply:
To enter, you will need to write a short report of a Christmas market you visited before, and share what you enjoyed about it.
