Andy Goulding is on Greatest Hits Radio across the Midlands, weekdays from 1-4pm. He's here through the afternoon, sitting in the middle of a Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo sandwich! Andy's show plays the biggest songs of the 70s, 80s and 90s and he's your chance to win life-changing amounts of cash.

At 1pm, Andy starts his show with a whole hour of lunchtime anthems - the songs that guarantee the Good Times, whilst you stop for lunch. He's also got chances to get the cheesiest Greatest Hits on the radio every afternoon on "Cheese or Crackers" and your requests every week on Free Play Friday.

What can we expect from your show on Greatest Hits Radio?

I'm here to get you through the afternoon with great songs. From an hour of Lunchtime Anthems at 1, through more of the biggest songs of the 70s 80s and 90s while you're at work! Plus there's a chance to win life changing money every afternoon.

What’s your favourite thing about presenting your radio show?

The music is so uplifting and every song is a classic, so knowing that whatever kind of day someone is having, I'm threre with music that makes you feel great!

What is your go-to track to listen to in the car?

ABBA's 'Winner Takes It All'. Yes, the subject is about the end of a relationship, but sometimes the best songs come from the darkest places. I can really belt that one out (when I'm driving alone).

Which song is your Good Times anthem?

Disco Inferno - Tramps. As soon as the intro kicks in, I can feel the endorphins.

Have you ever been on the TV?

I have! I did a week as on OB presenter on the Big Breakfast every morning from Wigan – the glamour! I also played the part of a local radio presenter in Coventry for a BBC sit com that was cancelled after one series. I’ve realised I should stick to radio!

As well as presenting on Greatest Hits Radio, what are you up to now?

I also have a podcast where I talk about Walt Disney World, so only good times. You can check it out here.

Simon said of his Drivetime show: "I think the thing about Drivetime is that it is like the flip side of breakfast. You kind of know what an awful lot of people are doing, it's the end of most people's day, they're doing some final bits of work, they're shutting the laptop, they're doing a bit of food preparation, they're driving home. I think it is that sense of camaraderie, it's the end of the day, people want to be cheered up and they want to spend some time with some decent folk on the radio!"
