Our favourite moments from The BRIT Awards 2022

After Jack Whitehall stepped down from the show, comedian Mo Gilligan presented The BRIT Awards 2022 with Mastercard on Tuesday 8th February, and it was most certainly a night to remember.

The prestigious ceremony, which took place at The 02 in London, showcased some of the best talent in the world of music, with awards and some EPIC performances on the night from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Sam Fender and Liam Gallagher.

Bringing an amazing ceremony to an end, Dave took to the stage to give a phenomenal performance, featuring Giggs, Ghetts and Fredo.

Adele's inspirational speech for Mastercard Album of the Year

Picking up yet another award, Adele shared an inspirational message during her heart-warming speech. She gushed: "Thank you very much, thank you again for the company I'm in, I've thanked everyone I work with, the labels and stuff, but I'd like to dedicate this award to my son. And to Simon, to his dad, this album was all of our journey, not just mine. I'm very proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out an album about something that was so personal to me because not many people do that anymore. My son has been so gracious, and kind and patient over the last couple of. years and it's for him.

"I don't know if it was mentioned earlier as I had to get ready for my song, someone who was absolutely integral is producer of the year this year, his name Inflo, He works with Little Simz a lot and he really changed my life, not just with my music but he really helped me in so many ways, Flo I love you, this is for you as well. Thank you very much, goodnight."

Shortly before picking up her second award of the night, Adele wowed the crowd as she showed off her gorgeous vocals with her track 'I Drink Wine'.

Picking up her first ever BRIT Award for Best Dance Act, it's fair to say Becky Hill got us feeling all kinds of ways with her emotional speech!

Olivia Rodrigo picked up her first ever BRIT Award, just one year after making her debut UK performance at the 2021 ceremony! Her track 'good 4 u' certainly deserved it!

Adele's acceptance speech for Song Of The Year

In true Adele style, the singer gave a cracking acceptance speech after she picked up the Song Of The Year award for her track 'Easy On Me'. The singer gushed: "I didn't realise that there were that many songs, I can't believe a piano ballad won against that many bangers.

"Thank you so much, it's always a pleasure to be here and I always love coming home and The BRITs were a big part of my career, coming from way back when I was a little fetus, thank you so much, I love you to and all, how do I get down there with two things in my hand?"

Of course, we all knew that Ed Sheeran's BRIT Award performance would be nothing shy of amazing, but throw rock band Bring Me The Horizon into the mix and the stage was most certainly set on fire (literally)!

Adele arrived looking absolutely STUNNING, of course, in her floor length black gown. We couldn't help but spot another rather gorgeous, and sparkling, accessory on her left hand... 👀

Naturally, fans are now pretty convinced that the 'Easy On Me' singer in now engaged!
