She went through a dramatic few months last year when her husband Wayne Rooney was accused of cheating following his drink driving arrest. But after welcoming their fourth child into the world earlier this year, things seem to be looking up for the Rooney family.

And new reports today are suggesting that bosses at Strictly Come Dancing want to sign Coleen up for the brand new series which is set to return later in the year.

According to reports, a source told The Mirror, "This would be one of Strictly’s biggest signings ever. And it would be a ratings sensation." They later added that Coleen is keen on the idea and is currently 'in talks'.

Coleen was apparently due to feature on the popular show back in 2017, but after falling pregnant with her fourth son, Coleen was replaced by Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu.

However, despite the new rumours, Coleen's appearance on the show is yet to be confirmed.

Coleen is currently enjoying time with her two-month-old son Cass. The mum-of-four delighted her fans back in February when she revealed she'd given birth to another boy. She wrote, 'So Happy to welcome our Baby Boy .... Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz. He is beautiful 💙'. sic

Meanwhile, in other Strictly Come Dancing news, last week it was revealed that all four judges will be returning to the 2018 series.

Shirley Ballas will continue her role as head judge, with Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell also returning to the panel.

Rumours are also heating up about which celebrities will be taking part in the popular show when it returns later in the year.

With reports suggesting bosses are prepared to break the bank to land former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan, Rylan Clark-Neal also expressed his interest in appearing on the show last week.

As well as Coleen, Rylan and Michelle, the likes of Joey Essex, Piers Morgan and Maya Jama are also rumoured.
