Many of the world's biggest celebrities are posting inspirational messages to their social media accounts to celebrate International Women's Day today. And whilst many have chosen to share quotes, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has shared an adorable throwback photo.

Including the special women in her life, her mum and sister, Holly shared the cute throwback snap with the caption, 'Happy International Women’s Day to these two power house women in my life... my mother and my sister... love you both! 💕 #internationalwomensday'. sic

So cute!

Many fans were quick to comment on the cute snap, complimenting the families good looks.

One fan wrote, 'Your mum is stunning! Lovely picture!', with another adding, 'Your mother is absolutely beautiful'. Another user with the name, shassy15 wrote, 'Your mum is beautiful!! That’s where you get it then!! X' sic

Holly isn't the only celebrity sending out messages to commemorate the movement for women's rights.

Earlier today, Cheryl Tweedy sent a message out to her fans and the likes of Olly Murs, Scarlett Moffatt, Dua Lipa and Davina McCall have all posted inspirational messages to celebrate the day.

Britain's Got Talent judge and former Mis-Teeq singer Alesha Dixon has also been using International Women's Day in an extremely positive way.

Alesha has teamed up with Always for the End Period Poverty campaign. The new campaign has been launched to raise awareness of the number of girls and women who can't afford basic sanitary products.

The mum-of-one joined Hits Radio reporter Jo Parkinson to discuss the latest research which has revealed that over 140,000 girls miss school because they cannot afford sanitary protection.
