The One Love Manchester concert took place at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester in 2017 with a star-studded line-up.

Headlined by Ariana Grande, the star was joined by Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Take That, Niall Horan, Black Eyed Peas, Little Mix, Robbie Williams and Liam Gallagher on stage.

However one star was noticeably absent despite being on the original line-up for the event. Fans took to Twitter to ask where Usher was from the charity gig as he was billed to perform.

Usher had yet to explain why he didn’t perform at the event, but posted up a video on his Facebook declaring his love and support for the city.

In the video he said: “My heart is with you Manchester. I'm so sorry for all of your loss and all of your pain that you've gone through. My family and I send our heartfelt condolences to each and every one of you in this difficult time. We need to love each other, we need to be good to each other. Stay strong and united because only through that love can we help each other heal.”

However the night was full of surprises with Liam Gallagher and Imogen Heap turning up to perform.
