Pop sensation Katy Perry has taken to her social media accounts to announce the exciting news that she will soon be releasing her new single called 'Never Really Over'. The track will be Katy's first song as a lead artist since last December.

Taking to her various social media platforms last night (28th May), the singer shared the artwork for her new song, announcing that it will be released on Friday 31st May. Captioning the colourful image on Instagram, she wrote, '5.31.19 Pre-save in bio. #NeverReallyOver 🧡' sic.

Not only did the snap prove to us that she can effortlessly pull off ANY hair style, but also informed us that the long-awaited song is also available to pre-save on streaming platforms now.

Excited fans were quick to jump into the comments, with one writing, 'We are so ready 🧡🧡🧡#NeverReallyOver' sic, another writing, 'I need it😍😍😍🤩' sic, and another one adding, 'Boom🔥🔥🔥' sic.
