It's been one of the most popular shows since it graced Netflix back in 2020, and following the arrival of series two back in December 2021, bosses confirmed a third AND fourth instalment of Emily In Paris - and now, we can all scream "merci beaucoup", as season three is officially out now!

As we prepare for the fourth series, find out all there is to know about seasons three and four of Netflix's Emily in Paris.

Where is season four of Emily in Paris set?

Lily Collins has revealed that season four will be set in Rome. She told fans in a video recorded for Tudum, a Netflix fan event: "While Emily's heart will always stay true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season. Don't be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday."

When did they film season three?

Actress Lily Collins, who plays the role of lead star Emily Cooper in the hit drama, confirmed the exciting news that season three had started filming, on Thursday 2nd June 2022. Taking to her Instagram to share a snap alongside her co-star Ashley Park, who plays her on-screen bestie Mindy Chen, she captioned the image: 'Reunited in Paris! Let season 3 filming begin!…'

Of course, a large helping of eager fans headed straight to the comments section to share in the excitement, with one writing: 'Yes! Can't wait...', and another commenting: 'Omgggggg love it 💗💗' (sic).

Emily in Paris renewed for seasons three and four

Back on Monday 10th January 2022, Lily revealed the wonderful news that we would be getting a third season of Emily In Paris - and, not only that, but we could expect a fourth season too!

Sharing a photo of herself wearing some pretty spectacular Emily In Paris themed pyjamas, Lily said: 'Woke up early to give you some VERY exciting news… @emilyinparis is back for Season 3… AND wait for it, Season 4!!!!! I can’t tell if Emily would love or hate this announcement outfit but she’d be screaming either way. Truly love you all, thanks so much for the incredible support. Seriously cannot wait for more. Merci BOUCOUP!!…' (sic)

The official Emily In Paris Instagram page also shared the news alongside a short video clip, writing: 'Say ‘bonjour’ to 3 & 4! 💋 EMILY IS OFFICIALLY RETURNING FOR TWO MORE SEASONS!'

Fans were clearly overjoyed at the news, with many expressing their excitement in the comments section. One wrote: 'YES!!!!!!!!!!! 🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌', with another writing: 'Can’t wait for more!!! It should last for years!!!'.

A third then commented: 'Yayyy!!🥳🥳🥳 Excited!'.

Of course, in case you've not yet binged series one, two and three (what else have you been doing?) we won't spoil anything, but series two did introduce British heartthrob Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, much to the delight of fans. And, by the looks of things, we can expect to see more of the actor in the upcoming seasons!

When was season three released?

Emily in Paris season three was released on 21st December 2022. The announcement of the release date was made by the show's official social media accounts as well as some of the cast members.

The third season comes a year after the second season was released. There is no word yet on when season four will be released.

When will season four be released?

It's not yet been announced when season four will be released, however many are suggesting it will be out in December 2023, as the last season was released just before Christmas 2022.
