Dancing On Ice bosses have been confirming celebrities thick and fast this week, and today another three have been announced to star on the show, including a former X Factor star, a rugby player and a winner of The Great British Bake Off.

Jake Quickenden, who found fame when he was a contestant on The X Factor in both 2012 and 2014, was announced to star on the ice skating show by bosses this morning.

Taking to Twitter to share a video of Jake, the message read, 'He sure can sing, but can @JakeQuickenden skate to victory in 2018? #DancingOnIce'.

Of course Jake is no stranger to TV talent shows, as well as appearing on The X Factor, the singer was a popular camp mate on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2014. Jake finished second on the show behind his now father-in-law Carl Fogarty.

Candice Brown, who won The Great British Bake Off in 2016, was also announced as a contestant for the show. Bosses wrote, 'Hopefully there won't be too many soggy bottoms for @CandiceBrown on #DancingOnIce! 💫', as they shared the news.

Originally a PE teacher, Candice left her job to pursue her cooking career after she won the famous baking show. Candice is now a regular member of the This Morning team, where she shows off her cooking talents.

As well as Jake and Candice, Scottish rugby union ace Max Evans was also confirmed for the show.

Being a sportsman, Max is sure to show his competitive edge throughout the competition and he could be taking dancing tips from his brother Thom who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2014.

Jake, Candice and Max join Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent, Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker and Love Island 2017 winner Kem Cetinay on the show.

With more celebrities set to be announced in the coming days, it's already shaping up to be an excellent series!

Earlier this year fans were left delighted when it was revealed Dancing On Ice would be returning to ITV with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in January 2018.

The show will also see the return of Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean, who will this time take up roles of head judges. It was also revealed that the show has a brand new purpose built set with two rinks, a training rink and a performance rink.
