Nu-metal torchbearers, Korn, took to their social media channels last night (17th June) to post an image of what appears to be a tangle of wire cables and urging fans to ‘Sign Up Now’ at their official website.

Clearly teasing an upcoming announcement of some sort, when fans duly visit Korn’s website a pop-up appears emblazoned with the ominous words ‘Watch It All Fall Down…’ and urging visitors to sign up for the band’s mailing list.

Korn - Watch It All Fall Down

The cryptic messages have prompted intense speculation amongst Korn fans that it could be a new album, song, video or even more tour dates.

Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for Korn to reveal the big announcement...

If it is indeed an album, it will be Korn’s thirteenth studio album in total and the follow-up to October 2016’s ‘The Serenity of Suffering’.

Korn already have a sprawling North American tour lined up that opens at Austin360 Amphitheatre on Thursday 18th July and wraps up at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California on Wednesday 4th September, so there’s a good chance fans will get to hear new music.

Last year Korn guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch and drummer Ray Luzier both confirmed they had been laying down new tracks with acclaimed producer Nick Raskulinecz.

Welch told Consquence of Sound in December: “We’ve got some amazing tricks up our sleeves that we haven’t done before, some fun things that the fans are going to be pleasantly surprised by. I know that for a fact.”

Pushed about a release date, he joked: “No later than 2022! We’d love to get it out before the end of next year (2019). I know there’s a lot of good bands coming out with music next year. It’s gonna be exciting."

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis released his debut solo album 'Black Labyrinth' in May 2018.
