Neck Deep have rescheduled their Nottingham Rock City show after the initial gig was aborted after two songs due to a fracas with security.

At the 9th October show, the band were performing second song ‘Lime St.’ when, according to fans in attendance, security got heavy handed and “slammed” a crowd surfer down. This prompted the band and their crew to intervene and tackle them and resulted in the cancellation of the gig.

Neck Deep issued a statement the following day saying “violence is never a solution, and that everything that went down could and should have been handled better by all parties.”

How, Neck Deep and Nottingham Rock City have joined forces to rearrange the show for Sunday 5th November with support from WSTR and Blood Youth.

Neck Deep and Nottingham Rock City’s joint statement reads: “Rock City and Neck Deep have come together to reschedule a new show for the fans. The new date is Sunday 5th November 2017.

“Everyone who attended the previous show will automatically be re-booked for the new date. Anyone who is unable to attend the new date will need to contact their point of purchase and request a refund.

“All tickets for the new date will be despatched to customers week commencing the 23rd October. Both Neck Deep and Rock City take the safety of the customers and staff very seriously. A full review has been taken to ensure a positive and secure environment for all.”
