It's almost time for the long-awaited sequel to Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to be released and here at KISS Jordan and Perri caught up with two stars from the film, Letitia Wright and Dominique Thorne.

Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri and Dominique Thorne, who plays the role of Riri Williams, opened up about the experience of being on the set of such an epic film, and what it was like to come back to such a successful franchise without their 'brother' Chadwick Boseman.

Chadwick, who played T'Challa / Black Panther in the original film in 2018, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame in the following years, sadly passed away in 2020 from cancer.

Letitia Wright and Dominique Thorne chat to Jordan and Perri on KISS FM UK:

The late actor has been honoured throughout the film, and for Letitia who previously starred alongside him, said it was an emotional time. She told Jordan and Perri: "It's like incredibly difficult to come back to one of the biggest franchises in the world, that did so well, without your brother, so off the back, that's like difficult. You're on set, like, processing as well, a lot of tough days, but a lot of days you just support each other."

She continued: "Overall, there was a lot of joy, there was a lot of peace, there's a lot of great characters, new characters being introduced, that will inspire the world, so, overall it's a beautiful film."

Dominique also opened up about her new role in the film saying she thinks: "Riri Williams entering MCU through Wakanda Forever is the best passage into this world, that I think I could have asked for."

She went on to say: "I think as we look to see more Black female representation in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) it's definitely a beautiful pocket to be in."
