Ellie Goulding reveals new music video leans into Stranger Things
The video for her new track has 80s and futuristic vibes!

Ellie Goulding has officially returned to the music scene, dropping her brand new track 'Easy Lover' featuring Big Sean. Ellie popped by KISS Breakfast on Friday (15th July) and caught up with Perri about her new music, and the funky new music video which leans into Stranger Things!
Talking about the new track, Perri told Ellie: "I'm a big fan! I'm not gonna lie, I get light Stranger Things vibes from it," and it seems he hit the nail on the head, as the singer responded with: "It's funny you say that! Because that's what the video very much leans into!"
Without giving away too much about the video, which was released at 4pm on 15th July, Ellie elaborated: "It's very, kind of, surreal, like 80s but also kind of futuristic!"
As Stranger Things fans will know, the show is set in the 1980s, with the show's characters sporting 80s clothing and hairstyles. In the music video for 'Easy Lover', Ellie can be seen sporting various colourful outfits which combine futuristic vibes with classic 80s fashion.

Ellie's new track 'Easy Lover' is in collaboration with none other than American rapper Big Sean. Speaking about the collab, Perri said: "Big Sean link-up as well - I feel like this is a little bit of an unexpected one! How did this one come about?"
The 'Burn' singer then explained: "I've known him for years and he sampled me on his album a few years back, so it's kind of like a full circle thing, but we've stayed in touch for years and he's married to one of the best singers in the world as well... Which is always good."
But it's not just Ellie's video that seems to be the talk of the town, with the singer admitting to Perri that she is a huge fan of his TikTok! She admitted: "I love your videos! I watch them a lot."
A surprised Perri then responded: "Really? Thank you very much! You're not just saying that?" Ellie then quickly reassured him: "No I'm not! You're clearly in my algorithm!"
Sounds like Perri has a new BFF! With Jordan sadly unable to join Perri on Friday morning, his co-host had to say: 'Wth is this @realperrikiely? I’m away for one day and oooo Ellie watches my tiktoks🙄' (sic).
