Sam Smith returns with ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’
And it will give you goosebumps...

He’s back! Sam Smith has just dropped his comeback single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ and it’s got us feeling a little bit emosh.
It’s the first new music from Sam since the release of ‘Writings On The Wall’, which featured on the soundtrack for the James Bond film Spectre in 2015.
Speaking about the track, Sam said ‘this song is about a relationship I was in and it's basically about getting good at getting dumped. It's been a long while since I've put any music out and I feel that this first single sets the tone of what is to come.’

In the last few weeks, Sam has teased he was about to drop new music. Then this Monday (4th September) he announced 'Too Good At Goodbyes' was coming, when shared a picture of him holding the single along with the caption ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’. 8th September 2017. So excited for you to hear the new single xx’.
This month Sam thanked his fans for their patience in waiting for his new music. Posting on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, Sam wrote ‘To my beautiful fans. First of all I want to say thank you. Thank you for being so patient and letting me have the past year to really escape into my mind and write music so freely. I feel so rejuvenated and have so many stories I can’t wait to tell you.’
It’s been over three years since Sam Smith’s debut album ‘The Lonely Hour’,which featured his massive hits ‘Like I Can’, ‘I’m Not the Only One’, ‘Stay with Me’ and ‘Money of My Mind’. The album won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2015 GRAMMY Awards and British Breakthrough Artist and Global Success Award at 2015’s BRIT Awards.
Sam spoke with our Entertainment Team and discussed break-ups, having time off and of course, James Bond themes.
