The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks joined Tyler West as he fills in for usual KISS Breakfast hosts Jordan and Perri currently on tour with Diversity. While chatting to Tyler he opened up about his friendship with I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant and Staying Relevant podcast co-host, Sam Thompson, telling us about a very intimate moment they've shared.
"I took Sam for a waxing of his back and the other things that rhyme with back," Pete told a shocked Tyler. "I had to hold a piece of his anatomy - because it had shrivelled up - so that she could wax it.
"This was recorded and there is video evidence - I don’t know two best mates closer than that! It was like Earthworm Jim. It was a real struggle! There wasn’t much to wax I’ll be honest with you so at least it didn’t go on for too long!"
While Sam has been keeping busy in the jungle after triumphing in the latest Bushtucker Trial, called Fishy Business. Tyler gave Pete the opportunity to say ANYTHING he wanted about Sam on KISS FM UK.
He ended up getting genuinely emotional and saying three words you never thought you'd hear... "I love you!" he said: "That’s the only time I’m going to tell him that because if I tell him he gets too excited and it makes everything a little bit weird."
Pete also commented on why he's so keen for his best mate to win. Not only does he think he's entertaining, but he has a bet on!
"I think he’s the most entertaining one in there and I genuinely think he'll win it," Pete admitted. "I'd put money on it! I HAVE put money on it. I’ve put £500 on and it’s when the odds were good as well. Not so much now because he’s one of the favourites, but at the beginning no one thought he’d do very well and I thought, ‘I’ll have some of that!"
