Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that Eric Clapton asked him to change lyrics about rejecting Jesus on their new collaborative song ‘One of Those Days.’

Slow Hand performs guitar on ‘One of Those Days’ from Ozzy Osbourne’s upcoming new studio album ‘Patient Number 9’, and, according to Osbourne, he took umbrage with the lyrics: "One of those days that I don't believe in Jesus."

Speaking to Classic Rock Magazine, Ozzy Osbourne heaped praise on Clapton’s "f---ing great" contribution to the track but claimed the guitarist tried to convince him to alter the lyrics.

Commenting on the ‘One of Those Days’ lyrics, which he believes might “cause s---‘, Osbourne said: “It’s not an ‘I Am An Anti-Christ’ song. It’s about those days where everything goes f---ing wrong, and you’re going nuts trying to fix everything up."

Revealing Eric Clapton’s adverse reaction, Osbourne added: "He said ‘Oh, I’m not sure about that lyric.' So we tried to replace it with some alternatives.

“We did ‘One of those days where I don’t believe in Christmas' but it didn’t sound right. Losing faith in Jesus makes much more sense when the world is turning to s---.

“I think that song and the whole album turned out great."
