Coronavirus: Rammstein issue statement about 2020 stadium tour
"We are working on a solution for this difficult situation"

Neue Deutsche Härte titans Rammstein have released a statement about the status of their upcoming 2020 stadium tour.
The sprawling 2020 European leg of the Rammstein Stadium Tour is scheduled to kick off at Wörthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt, Austria on Monday 25th May and calls in at Cardiff Principality Stadium on Sunday 14th June, Belfast Boucher Road Playing Fields (Wednesday 17th June) and Coventry Ricoh Arena (Saturday 20th June) before concluding in Aarhus, Denmark on Tuesday 4th August.
Rammstein are then scheduled to bring their mind-blowing pyro production to Canada, the United States and Mexico in August and September.
With many rock tours and festivals throughout the summer either cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus crisis, Rammstein have finally broken their silence on whether the tour will go ahead.
Their full statement reads: “Recently, several international governments have extended their bans on large-scale events. Also affected, unfortunately, are some of the dates for the 2020 Rammstein Tour.
“We are working on a solution for this difficult situation together with our partners in all the affected countries, and we hope for the understanding of those who have purchased tickets for the coming shows.
“As soon as we have precise and definitive information, we will communicate this immediately.
“Until then we ask for your understanding and patience, and we would also please request that you refrain for the time being from addressing further questions to the local event organizers, the band management, or the ticket systems. An update will follow as soon as possible.”

Last month, Rammstein singer Till Lindemann was hospitalised due to an unspecified illness.
Refuting a report by German tabloid that Till Lindemann had coronavirus, Rammstein said: "Till Lindemann was admitted to a hospital on the band’s doctor’s advice. He spent the night in intensive care but has been moved as he is feeling better. Till has tested negative for the coronavirus."
