Samantha Fish announces March 2021 UK tour
She's playing six headline shows
American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter Samantha Fish has announced a March 2021 headline UK tour.
Having recently wowed on her UK tour in late February and early March, Samantha returns to these shores next spring for shows in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Bath, London, Nottingham and Manchester.
Samantha says of the tour: “I know it feels a bit strange announcing a tour because we’re all locked down fighting this virus right now, but we’ve been working hard to set up my 2021 UK tour in amazing venues, and to be honest I want to have something to look forward to, and I hope you do, too!"
Tickets to Samantha Fish’s UK tour go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 3rd April.
A firm favourite on Blues Power with Bernard Doherty on Planet Rock, Samantha Fish released her latest studio album ‘Kill or Be Kind’ in September 2019.
Lauded by critics, the 11-track album was recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis and produced by three-time Grammy winner Scott Billington and mixed by two-time Grammy winner Steve Reynolds.
Commenting on her musical style, Samantha Fish says: "I'm never going be a traditional blues artist, because that's not who I am.
"But it's all the Blues for me. When Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf came out, what they were doing didn't sound like anything that had been done in Blues before. You've got to keep that kind of fire and spirit. I'm never going to do Muddy Waters better than Muddy Waters, so I have to be who I am and find my best voice.”
