The Hot Damn! premiere video for debut single 'Dance Around'
The quartet share an anthem of positivity for these turbulent times

The Hot Damn! have premiered the video for their debut single ‘Dance Around.’
Formed in autumn 2020, The Hot Damn! consists of former Amorettes singer/guitarist Gill Montgomery, ex-Tequila Mockingbyrd drummer Josie O’Toole, Aaron Buchanan and the Cult Classics guitarist Laurie Buchanan and Lzi Hayes (New Device/Sophie Lloyd band).
Unveiled to the world today (2nd July), The Hot Damn!’s first song 'Dance Around' is an pop-tinged rock anthem of positivity for these turbulent times. The accompanying kaleidoscopic video reflects the music perfectly.
Gill Montgomery comments: "'Dance Around' was written at the height of the first lockdown. It was a frustrated reaction to the immobile state of the world at that time with the only real motivation being the thought of better times...
“Some of us are lucky enough to escape into our own creativity and live vicariously through that. We were aiming for something uplifting and fun that you can dance to. Hell, I defy anyone not to move to this!"
