A Perthshire family whose dogs were snatched are 'overjoyed' to have their second missing pup back in their arms.

The golden cocker spaniel was found by two boys in Surrey.

Last week a member of the public discovered the other missing one in Nottinghamshire.

Iona Mcgregor says she's lucky to have her beloved pets back.

"Two lovely boys called Thomas and Colby were in the park. They noticed the dog looking extremely lost and pretty much asking for help," she said.

"They gave their mum a call who then took the dog to the vets, scanned the microchip and that's when we got the call to say our dogs had been found.

I'm incredibly overjoyed to be able to say I have both my dogs home safe. I'm so, so happy.

"The stress that we went through was insane. The fear of not knowing where they were or what was happening to them was just horrific."
