Becky was the winner of the Best British Dance Act Award supported by KISS FM and when she first received the award, she commented: “It’s heavy!” before giving an emotional speech.

She said: "I want to thank the BRITs' committee for putting me on the shortlist of the Dance Act for another year, and it is such an honour to be nominated especially alongside the amazing Eliza Rose, and the incredible RAYE who are an inspiration for women and people of colour in such an underrepresented scene."

Becky continued: "I think Beyoncé actually said it best in her GRAMMY speech. We all have the queer community to thank for the best genre on earth. I want to thank my incredible label Polydor, who are just as passionate about my new music and my upcoming album as I am.

"And the incredible team over at Sony, music publishing and CAA and Simkins and my incredible management Alex Martin and Amanda Barker.

Of course, she also had a special mention for her fans, adding: "The biggest thanks of all has to go to my fans who for another year have helped me win a BRIT Award and imposter syndrome kicked straight in when the nominees were announced. I was so scared and when I read all their comments I was so touched, so thank you so much. Thank you!"

As well as her incredible win, Becky also performed 'Crazy What Love Can Do' with David Guetta and Ella Henderson.

Congratulations, Becky!
