Exclusive: Joel Corry reveals more about ‘BANGERS’ he’s recorded with Becky Hill

Joel Corry joined the incredible line-up at Hits Live Liverpool on 19th November, along with Ed Sheeran, Mabel, The Script, Ella Henderson, Mimi Webb, Becky Hill, and Tom Grennan. Following the two amazing shows this year, Hits Live will return in 2022 in Liverpool on 20th May 2022, Manchester on 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on 12th November 2022. Before he went on stage, Joel Corry chatted to us about his music and talked about collaborating with Becky Hill: "I feel so lucky right now that I'm able to work with these amazing talented artists and I'm just having the time of my life back in the studio and listen, Becky Hill, first of all, the queen of dance music. Finally, we got this year together. I don't know why it took this long. But it was worth the wait."

He continued: "Bangers were made. That's all I'm saying. Enough said for that." which has us hoping that a couple of tracks from the pair are in the making!

Throughout his career, Joel has made plenty of famous friends, including David Guetta who even joked about taking Joel's mum on a date. He also recently met Ed Sheeran for the first time and has got to know Olly Alexander from Years & Years.

Joel chatted about his friendship with Tom Grennan and the possibility of a collab: "Me and Tom get on so well and you know he came down for the day and yeah, we had a wicked day together and let's see what happens man."

The 'Head & Heart' DJ has collaborated with numerous talented artists, including Mabel who he released the song 'I Wish' with in October 2021 and the accompanying music video on 5th November.

He addressed his newly bleached blond hair and revealed that he dyed it because he wanted a new look for the video: "Got the new single out 'I Wish' with Mabel and I was like 'Right, I've gotta do something for this music video'." Joel seemed pleased with his new style, although he admitted that his nan wasn't too keen on it!

Joel talked about creating the 'I Wish' music video and praised the director Elliot Simpson: "He's directed the last few of my music videos and he's just a genius and you know, he smashed it this one. It's such a fun video, obviously Mabel looks amazing.

"It was such a fun day shooting it, and I hope everyone enjoys it. I hope everyone enjoys the new hair as well."
