Little Mix's 'No More Sad Songs' goes Platinum in the UK 🏆

It's been a massive week for Little Mix - not only did they announce their support act for their 'Summer Hits Tour', but the girls have now had their single 'No More Sad Songs' certified Platinum in the UK!

The track, which appeared on their 2016 album 'Glory Days', saw a remix featuring Machine Gun Kelly, and has now seen over 600,000 sales!

When was 'No More Sad Songs' announced?

Taking to their social media channels to drop the exciting news, Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade donned cowboy hats to reveal their next single from the 'Glory Days' album would be 'No More Sad Songs' featuring Machine Gun Kelly in March 2017.

When was 'No More Sad Songs' released?

The track dropped on Friday 3rd March, becoming the group's third single from their Number 1 album 'Glory Days', having previously released 'Touch' and BRIT Award-winning track 'Shout Out To My Ex'.

Jesy, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade don cowboy hats as they walk into a bar and get the party started, before they end up dancing on the bar, in true Coyote Ugly style.

The girls also shared an exclusive behind the scenes look at the filming of the video in April 2017. At the start of the video Jade explains ‘the concept for No More Sad Songs is kinda Coyote Ugly themed, a little bit western …we wanted to do a video that no one would expect for this song.’

Little Mix's debut album 'DNA' was released on 19th November 2012, almost one year after they won The X Factor in December 2011. The record featured collaborations with T-Boz from TLC and Missy Elliott, and the record went to Number 3 in the UK and has been certified Platinum.
