'Listen to Here 💚'.

Tom also uploaded the audio for his new song to YouTube, including the full song lyrics in the video's description.

'Here' will feature on Tom's upcoming album, which he announced would be arriving on 9th June, after his tour, which takes place in March this year.

Tom said of the new song: "With what’s going on in the world, with so many people struggling, affected financially, by Covid, by loads of different things, it’s one of those songs that helps you believe there is somebody in your life that is going to be there for you in the struggle.

"There’s the battle of everything. But when it’s shared with somebody else, you’re doing it together, not just on your own.

"So that’s what it’s about, if I’m here for you, then please be here for me."

What are the lyrics to 'Here'?

The song starts with the lyrics:

'If they're gonna take you from me / They better bring a whole army / You know I'll fight back the sea / No, there's no wave that can stop me

'When the sky turns black, I'll be the light you need / I'll go to hell and back, I'll be your remedy / And God, I have no doubt, I'll do it endlessly / With every breath I breathe'.

'You know that I'll be, you know that I'll be / Here, here for you / You know that I'll be, you know that I'll be / Here, here for you / You know that I'll be, you know that I'll be'.

It hit me hard watching him comprehend what had happened, trying to compute the madness and sadness of his new world now that his mum whom he loved so dearly had passed.
"It triggered memories for me of the loss of my cousin and best friend Alan when I was just a teenager, it broke so many of us. The song unravelled from me quite quickly. It was cathartic on many levels, thoughts of loss and heartbreak, dealing with the grief of death, or the breakdown of a relationship or friendship.
"These are all things that seem to have dominated my life in recent years, but sadly never get any easier to navigate. I'm grateful that the passing of time allows us to look back and remember the good times."
