Anne-Marie answers our quick-fire Christmas questions

We caught up with Anne-Marie backstage at Hits Live Birmingham and since we were feeling Christmassy we asked her some quick-fire Christmas questions to get to know all about her festive traditions, as well as who she was in the Nativity at school and which celebrity she would like to spend Christmas with.

Have you got your Christmas tree up yet?

"I haven't put it up yet. The thing is, I've got quite a small flat, so I've to get one of the half-sized ones. I don't quite know what to do about the tree situation because do you get a real one and it just moults everywhere, or do you get a plastic one and kill the planet? And you can get plastic ones that you give back so it's just like you rent it."

Which celebrity you would most like to spend Christmas with?

"David Guetta. We can fly to Mauritius!"

Who were you in the school Nativity?

"I think I was Mary. Yeah, just the lead."

Are you in or out on New Year?

"I'm out. I used to just get the pots and pans out and just run around the block."

2021 has been a busy year for Anne-Marie, as well as her incredible performance at Hits Live in November, Anne-Marie released her amazing second album 'Therapy' in June. The album included the hit tracks 'Kiss My (Uh Oh)' with Little Mix, and 'Our Song' with Niall Horan.

Anne-Marie is known for her incredible collabs, and revealed to us that the person she would love to collab with next is Sam Smith. She also didn't rule out another collab with Niall: "Me and Niall might release another song together, we're definitely going to write more together, so yeah, who knows?"

We can't wait to see what Anne-Marie does next!
