Elton John shares the official music video for Joel Corry's remix of 'Hold Me Closer'

Legendary DJ Joel Corry, known for tracks like 'Head and Heart' and 'Lonely', released a remix of Elton John and Britney Spears' 'Hold Me Closer' earlier this month, and now the song has an official video - as shared by Elton!
The first song got an amazing response from fans when it dropped on 26th August, but Joel Corry decided to do a remix of it, and it's had the seal of approval from Elton John.
Now the official video, of the song that was released on 7th October, stars Joel Corry along with six dancers who are dressed in iconic outfits from both Britney and Elton.

Teasing the song before it dropped on 7th October, Joel shared a video of himself playing the track while performing in Ibiza. He wrote: 'Hold Me Closer Remix out at midnight ⏰ @EltonJohn @BritneySpears what a banger 🚀
'Was unreal to have a phone call from Sir Elton & appreciate the kind words. Look forward to meeting up soon! Thanks for the opportunity @EltonJohn ❤️'.
Giving more details, the text on the video said: 'Sir Elton John called me and said he approved of this remix. It went off in Ibiza!!'
Fans clearly could not wait for the full song to come out and were quick to comment their support, with one writing: 'Go on Joel 💪🏽 sounds f-cking unreeeal🔥😎'. (sic)
Another added: 'I love this remix👏❤️', with one person saying 'Another banger mate 👏👏'. A fourth fan wrote: 'Getting the recognition you deserve… so proud🙌❤️'.
The full song is out now and was shared on Elton John's YouTube channel. The song was released with a trippy visualiser taken from the official music video.

2023: '0800 Heaven' with Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson
Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe and Ella Henderson released their banger '0800 Heaven' back in June 2023, followed by an acoustic version a month later. The trio's song was written by Nathan and Ella, with Ella telling us: "This has happened very, very fast. The next thing you know he's (Nathan) sent it to Joel, Joel rings me and he's like, 'I want to come on it, we've got to do it together', and then, here we are, it's happening! So, we're absolutely buzzing.
"It is a really fun record," she continued.
