She's one of the most popular Love Island contestants EVER thanks to her hilarious personality and one-liners, and after the arrival of former Islander Adam Collard in the 2022 villa, fans of the show are now convinced Maura Higgins could also be making a comeback.
Maura, who appeared on the 2019 series alongside the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Amber Gill and former boyfriend Curtis Pritchard, has been very quiet on social media over the last week, leading fans to think she could be heading over to Mallorca.
After seeing the arrival of 2018 star Adam, who has wasted no time in getting to the know the likes of Paige Thorne, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Gemma Owen and Danica Taylor, fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts...
One wrote: 'I mean Maura Higgins has been inactive on social media for the past few days… could this mean she makes a LI comeback?? Please bring her in to put some sense into these girls #LoveIsland'. (sic)
Another added: 'If Maura Higgins starts ghosting socials we all know why, with this bringing in ex islanders shenanigans #loveisland', with a third commenting: 'If they can bring Adam Colland back they can do the same with Maura Higgins. Give us what we want!'. (sic)
Another then predicted the final outcome, writing: 'Send in Maura Higgins. She couples u with Adam. They steal the show and one takes the money and they part ways! The only ending for this season I want to see #LoveIsland'. (sic)

After leaving the Love Island villa and splitting from dancer Curtis, Maura has gone on to achieve huge things in her career.
As well as appearing on Dancing On Ice, Maura landed a presenting role on Glow Up: Ireland, and she went on to have her own clothing edit with boohoo, in addition to modelling her own campaign for Ann Summers.
Maura was dating Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice in 2021, but the pair parted ways in October, with Giovanni releasing a statement at the time.
More recently, rumours have been rife Maura is dating professional footballer Connor Wickham, but the pair have remained silent on the rumours.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed that Maura is heading back into the villa, but as fans will know, Luca Bish has previously said he has a crush on the Irish beauty, so if she does, will Luca's head turn from Gemma?
