To mark the upcoming second anniversary of Disney’s Frozen The Musical in the West End, and the 10th anniversary of the film, Disney Theatrical Productions today announced the Walt Disney Records music release of Dangerous to Dream – sung by Samantha Barks who created the role of Elsa for the London production.

Dangerous to Dream is one of the twelve original songs which Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez wrote for the stage adaptation of the much-loved multi-award-winning film. The track is released today by Walt Disney Records, and is available widely for free across all streaming platforms, and is accompanied by a music video filmed at London’s historic Carlton House.

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are the music and lyric writing powerhouse, not only behind Frozen and the mega hit Let It Go, but also WandaVision, and Coco. Robert Lopez was the first ever double EGOT winner in history.

(UK tour), Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre), and Cabaret (Birmingham Rep).

For film, her credits include Tomorrow Morning, Chocolate Cake, For Love or Money, Bitter Harvest, The Revenger, Interlude in Prague, The Devil’s Harvest, The Christmas Candle and as Eponine in Les Misérables (recipient of Empire Award for Best Female Newcomer; and nomination for Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture). She also reprised her performance as Eponine for Les Misérables in Concert: The 25th Anniversary.

Samantha will also be staring along side TV personality Alan Carr; singer songwriter Jessie Ware; Olivier Award Winner Amber Riley in an upcoming musical theatre reality shows with Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream.

Samantha also competed on the 2008 reality television series I'd Do Anything – the hunt for the next Nancy in Oliver! She placed third out of Twelve potential Nancys.

The book was wrote by Jennifer Lee, based on the smash hit Frozen from Disney.

In its opening year, it received 7 WhatsOnStage Awards – the most of any production - and 4 Olivier Award nominations, including Best New Musical.

Samantha Barks as Elsa

Samantha Barks will play Elsa in the West End version of Frozen the musical. You may recognise Samantha from her previous roles in Les Misérables, Chicago and Pretty Woman the Musical so Elsa is in very safe hands.

Emily Lane as Anna

Before playing Anna, Emily was already in the company as a member of the ensemble and second cover Anna. Her theatre credits also include Before the Party at the Almeida Theatre and Les Misérables and The Sound of Music in the West End.

Craig Gallivan as Olaf

Everyone's favourite snowman, Olaf, will be played by Craig Gallivan. Craig's theatre credits include School of Rock at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace, and the UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Oliver Ormson as Hans

Oliver Ormson will play the role of Hans who Anna instantly falls in love with. Oliver's credits include Back To The Future: The Musical at the Manchester Opera House, High Fidelity at the Turbine Theatre, and both the UK and international tour of The Addams Family.

Djavan van de Fliert as Kristoffs

Djavan is making his professional stage debut in Frozen.
